Aurora Borealisby ~danajayy

_{This is my contest entry for the 's Event-tan Contest.

And yes, my entry is the aurora borealis ! I am quite pleased as to how this came out. This took me a while to come up with because I had NO clue as to how I was going to portray the northern lights. Aha. I referenced from a bunch of pictures of outer space and the aurora borealis. (I basically was staring at whatever google had to offer when I searched them up.) Also, I used a lovely reference stock as well to draw Aurora-tan !

Although I have never seen them in person, (it's still not crossed off my bucket list, aha) I believe viewing the northern lights with one's eyes would be a very memorable event in their life. I mean, they are colorful lights gracing across the night sky, how is that not special ?

Anywho, I suppose I should provide a brief description of what the northern lights/aurora borealis are:

"The northern lights, one of several astronomical phenomena called polar lights (aurora polaris), are shafts or curtains of colored light visible on occasion in the night sky."}
