It is that risk of whether or not to take those words to be true. These dangerous words, that people desire for someone to whisper to them, are just too hard to resist.
I took a picture of it because I was too lazy and afraid that the scanner would ruin the drawing. But I like how the light shines on the drawing. By the way, that's a camera phone shot. ;D Aha.
I am pleased as to how this came out. Although, I am quite saddened that this picture turned out gender-specific. By no means am I trying to denounce men as liars and cheaters because both men and women are guilty of saying these lies ! Menxmen, menxwomen, womenxwomen, any kind of relationship, anyone can say empty words.
I used a reference by the way. Sort of heavily referred to, but tweaked it still. This picture was also a pencil, shading and anatomy practice. Aha!
I am aware that there are errors pertaining to anatomy, shading and how the texts wraps around the person's body, but I tried. (:
this is amazing...great job! and ur right...u cant always be sure if what ur beloved says is true, all u can do is love him (or her) and trust that it's the truth but at the same time guard urself for heartbreak if, god forbid, it ends up being a lie
yea i'm learning to shield myself again. initially i was very shy then i slowly began opening up, was bullied and retreated into my shell again in middle school, but in high school i began coming out again...but i found out the hard way yet again i cant be as trusting as i use to.... things have changed, ppl have changed.... it's very hard to figure out who can be trusted and who u should keep away
Just keep trying to open up, but of course, with barriers. (: I'm still worried still, but the only way to gain trust is to trust them as well. (I think that's a quote somewhere. Aha.)
Thank you so much.
And exactly ! It's not bad to put up barriers, better safe than sorry ! Well, that's just me. (: Aha.
