Whoops, so I am late with this, but better late than never? :D Ahahaa. So 5 deviations? Allrighty, I SHALL.
--I had to unstore some of these deviations for this!!--

Well, had did this story start? I was in 6th grade when I made this good ole deviantART account of mine, specifically at my first and only slumber party at my friend's house for her birthday party. The next morning, I decided to make one, starting with the name insane-penguin. Why did I name it that? Because I was one of those basic random tweens at that time and that my 1st crush's favorite animal was a penguin. Oh the memories.

So, the first piece that started it all:

The Monkey Acrobats is the name. I liked drawing cute things back then. (Scratch that, I still do, but way more in the past.)

Then I got really into art, writing and all that jazz... when I joined neopets and met some awesome people at a guild, close to my heart, called Animeland! Those people (I hope they know who they are) are the first artists I looked up to (and still look up to today!) for their creativity, writing, characters and just everything! For this picture specifically, this is Urasashna, my supposedly starry cybunny. Neopets is a big chunk of my childhood!

Sadly, neopets changed and I lost interest and explored other sites, like Gaia, but none took my attention and time like Neopets did. For the most part, I just drew for myself and friends. The majority of my life, I drew with an anime style. This still is one of my favorite pieces back when I mostly drew in my anime style.

Right when junior year of high school came around, I decided to break away from anime and attempt a semi-realistic art style. This piece, Amora (my OC), was my first successful attempt at that new style and when I actually started noticing improvement in my artwork.

Okay, I am cheating, I can't settle to just one piece to explain my progress now. Soon enough, the semi-realistic style started to sink in ("Headdress") and I started to branch out away from my comfort zone. I entered my first tshirt design contest ever in my life and surprisingly became a finalist as well. Ever since then, I have been putting my art out there into more contests like those. My latest entry "Tribal Princess Luna" is for the MLP Season 4 contest at WeLoveFine.com. Next, I started to get more into landscape/background drawings, specifically outer space/galaxy/celestial things. Although they are just one side of science, I committed myself to try and incorporate science into my artwork, combining both of my passions into one.

Soooo, there you go! That is my story! ^_^ Thanks to everyone for sticking with me for the past 7-8 years! (I think I got that right....) Ahaha. I hope to only improve on from here on out! I hope you can stick with my a little longer as well~
